Youth Tournaments, Match Play and Events
Youth Open Match Play
Most Saturdays, 6pm – 7:30pm. Fee: $15.
Youth Open Match Play gives youth players the opportunity to hone their skills in a semi-competitive environment—without the pressure of score reporting, WTN risk, or high tournament fees. Players participate in short matches to practice their singles and doubles play while receiving instruction and feedback from ICT Tennis Coaches/Pros.
Youth Open Match Play sessions are held following Super Saturdays and alternate between 18U yellow ball (ages 13–18) and 12U green ball (ages 10–12). 18U players are encouraged to volunteer at Super Saturdays prior to their session if they are able.
Registration opens 4 weeks in advance for youth with a Youth Membership ($20 annually) and 2 weeks in advance for youth with a Public Membership ($0).

The Excellence Cup
Mid-December, Annually.
The Excellence Cup is a part of the Excellence Showcase, our Winter Holiday celebration of high performance tennis. Youth and adults from far and wide compete in the Excellence Cup, including most of ICT’s teen High Performance players.
USTA Junior Tournaments
Many of our Cities Academy players compete in USTA Junior Tournaments throughout the year. Interested players must obtain a USTA Membership, which is free, and then independently seek out tournaments in which they are interested.
Some USTA Tournaments are hosted by InnerCity Tennis at our Reed Sweatt Family Tennis Center. With questions about those tournaments, contact ICT Tournament Director Chris Parker.
