Tennis & Education Programs
ICT’s Tennis and Learning Programs provide a positive and supportive environment with academic coaches who will guide students through improving their confidence and abilities, ultimately reaching their full potential. In addition to providing academic coaches, individual attention, and small group academic support, programs will support holistic growth and development through tennis lessons, promoting healthy lifestyles in a health and wellness program and sports enrichment activities.

ACCELERATOR PROGRAM
ICT’s Accelerator Program addresses the achievement gap by providing students with homework help, reading support, educational games, direct instructions and literacy assignments, and sport activities designed to support student’s health and wellness. Through ReadWorks direct instruction, activities, and assignments, students build background knowledge, grow vocabularies, increase reading quantity, and strengthen strategic reading.
This program in partnership between ICT and YFDS, is designed to support holistic growth and development to further academic and athletic achievement by providing students with small group academic support, individualized reading and writing support, health and wellness activities, and tennis lessons.
2021-22 Scholarship Information
We are please to offer scholarships for our fee-based programs. Please fill out the above form if you are interested in receiving a scholarship this upcoming season.
Scholarship is valid for programming beginning September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022.
Required Documents (where applicable):
• Proof of Free or Reduced Lunch
• Income verification (Tax return, W-2 or pay stubs)
• Unemployment, Disability or SSI Benefits Planning Query Letter
• If you do not have any income and did not file income taxes, attach a note to explain

ReadWorks is an online resource of reading passages and lesson plans for students of all levels K-12. The non-profit was founded with the goal of improving reading comprehension by bringing the latest in literacy teaching research into the classroom. Texts, both fiction and non-fiction, are sortable by keywords, grade or lexile levels, or by the specific skill or strategy that a teacher would like her students to address (e.g. “cause and effect,” “plot,” “theme” etc.) All passages are accompanied by related question sets. ReadWorks also has many differentiation supports allowing teachers to tailor reading activities to each individual student’s needs. - Interested in volunteering?
